Hailing from Portlandia, Newspaper Taxi is a Beatles and classic rock cover band. Known for their tight harmonies, driving rhythms and intricate guitar work, Newspaper Taxi brings the fun!  Crowds love singing along and hitting the dance floor when Newspaper Taxi is in the house.  Their music features every stage of the Beatles catalogue - from early favorites like Twist and Shout, Hard Days Night and Day Tripper, to later Beatle hits like Let It Be, Here Comes the Sun, and Come Together.  Adding spice, Newspaper Taxi mixes things up with a tasty blend of classic rock songs from The Eagles and Queen to The Cure and Tears For Fears.

About Al's Den

Head downstairs at the Crystal Hotel to hang out in this venue named for Al Winter, Portland's 1940's gambling overlord. Enjoy a craft libation in this intimate, speakeasy-style space where live music and comedy fill the air.

Wednesday & Thursday, 3 pm – 10 pm
Friday & Saturday, 3 pm – 1 am
Sunday, 3 pm - 10 pm
Closed Monday & Tuesday
