Will Layng & The Ribs is a five member band from the Rose City of Portland, Oregon.  Featuring original songwriting and luscious 3 part vocal harmony, the band first formed in 2014 and the current lineup came together in 2017.  

Frontman Will Layng is an Atlanta, Georgia native and moved to Portland in 2004.  The band’s 11 song full length album “To Those That Ain’t Around”, due out in May 2023, emerged from a prolific songwriting period spurred by the COVID-19 pandemic.  Album tracks like “When We Are Together Again”, “The Ruins Of The Local Lounge”, “No Place To Hide”, and “Hard Hearted” document personal and community struggles of recent years.  The album, and the band, seamlessly move from campfire friendly soul stirrers to full on rock thunder.  

“To Those That Ain’t Around” is the fifth recording released by Will Layng & The Ribs.  Three of their recordings are on all the streaming services and the full catalogue is available on their Bandcamp page.
