Deaf Telepathy began as the collaboration between two brothers from Oregon’s Columbia River Gorge. Together they created a sound born from their shared musical unconscious. A sound that is equal parts dirty and dreamy, both psychedelic and introspective. The psychedelic premonition spread, and the duo evolved into a quartet. Bassist Brian Blaney and guitarist Marcus Giovacchini added intelligence and texture to the sonic spirit of the band. Our music is conjured from the unspoken, musical sixth sense between the group. A deaf telepathy.

About Al's Den

Head downstairs at the Crystal Hotel to hang out in this venue named for Al Winter, Portland's 1940's gambling overlord. Enjoy a craft libation in this intimate, speakeasy-style space where live music and comedy fill the air.

Wednesday & Thursday, 3 pm – 10 pm
Friday & Saturday, 3 pm – 1 am
Sunday, 3 pm - 10 pm
Closed Monday & Tuesday
