MD Sharbatz

Soul Music lover from Detroit, Michigan. In the fourteen years he's been in PDX, he started Brownish Black, an eight piece Soul band which lasted seven plus years, moved to Minneapolis, traveled the country in an old Econoline Van, started loving classic Country Music and joined a tour with Whitey Morgan and the 78's which brought him to Nashville's Ryman Auditorium, falling further in love w Country Music history. Back in Portland, he started a new band called MD Sharbatz, playing modern, Soul inspired Country songs. MD also sings and plays in the Woodlawn Ramblers, Portland's only, all male, three part harmony, Country Music group.

About Al's Den

Head downstairs at the Crystal Hotel to hang out in this venue named for Al Winter, Portland's 1940's gambling overlord. Enjoy a craft libation in this intimate, speakeasy-style space where live music and comedy fill the air.

Friday & Saturday, 3 pm – 1 am
Sunday, 3 pm - 10 pm
Closed Monday & Tuesday
