Ben and the Bloodshots

Ben and the Bloodshots

Ben and the Bloodshots is a goth country trio that brings grit and melody straight from the bottom of a bottle.

Formed just before the world shut down, they are currently working on their first release, which will hit the internet at the beginning of the summer.

Lucia Comnes

Lucia Comnes

Lucia Comnes is an independent American singer, songwriter, fiddler and guitarist with a ‘singular voice' (SF Chronicle) whose roots music crosses genres of Folk, Americana, Pop, Irish, Bluegrass & Rock. She writes powerful melodies with forceful, earthy lyrics that reflect her connection to the elements. Her album, ‘Held in the Arms‘, was greatly praised in the US: "There is not an inferior tune on this entire 43-minute album (No Depression)" and on national TV in Italy, was described by Folk Radio UK as "A journey into the light... Assured beautifully crafted American Folk." Her impressive musical background includes playing/touring with Joan Baez, and Tim Grimm, opening for Paul Brady and collaborating with Liam Ó Maonlaí (Hothouse Flowers). Her song, ‘No Hiding Place', a swampy blues number that marries lines from Appalachian ballads to a Bo Diddley beat, was recognised by the Dallas Texas Songwriters Association as Best Song of the Year in 2014.
