Matthew Lindley

Bluesy Americana Rock

Matthew Lindley

From the initial sip to the final glass-emptying swallow, Matthew Lindley creates a vibe that invites you to pull up a chair, pour yourself a pint, and relax among friends. With the storytelling heart of a troubadour, the passion and soul of a prophet and the gritty twang of a sagebrush sinner Lindley loads the virtual jukebox with a smokey blend of Blues, Americana, Rockabilly, and Southern soul that has Nashville leanings but is firmly rooted in the PNW.

Take a long, deep listen to Late Bloomer, the latest album from Lindley and allow the flavor of this blend of boxcar swing, hobo blues, two-step rockabilly, gambler soul ballad, disco sing-along mood collective to slide through your veins and beat with your heart. No designated driver needed just a raw need for a great album and the beautiful distraction it can provide.

Danny Wilson & Luther’s Boots

The Cash songbook and inspirat

Danny Wilson & Luther’s Boots

Danny Wilson formed Luther's Boots to play Johnny Cash's "At Folsom Prison" inside Oregon prison as a tribute to the 50th year of that album and as a way to explore the relevance of the music then and now. The band plays with an ear to modern audience, while honoring the spirit of Cash's intent and recordings. Built into the performance are stories of Cash, and the stories of folks Wilson has met inside. The Cash set is infused with the full the full circuit of emotions from the high energy "Cocaine Blues" to heartbreaking songs of loss like "Long Black Veil." Danny Wilson's original songs run a similar range often relying on his sly humor.

Mixing optimism with the boldness of age, Danny Wilson learned some chords on the guitar and started his first band in 2015. A believer in second chances and reinvention, Wilson started writing and performing his own songs. It was natural extension to add Johnny Cash into his sets.
