Twice a year The Crystal Ballroom plays host to a dynamic fashion show where each designer is encouraged to think outside the box regarding their runway presentation. Fade to Light aims to not just be a fashion show, but to be an experience that leaves the viewer with a solid understanding of each designer and the collections being shown. The first Fade to Light occurred in 2012 and was conceived by Elizabeth Mollo, whom heads the show twice a year as the executive producer. Fade to Light routinely showcases the work of both established and emerging designers within the Portland fashion community, including Project Runway winners and alums and graduates from The Art Institute of Portland and Portland Fashion Institute.

*While Fade to Light is an all ages event, the fashion show may contain adult content and themes.

The little sister of the historic Crystal Ballroom, Lola's Room is located on the second floor, directly below the Crystal. If you're a fan of DJ'd dance events, raging local rock showcases or intimate seated performances, then take a moment and bookmark this page.
