The Kareem Kandi World Orchestra

Music Fans,
The Kareem Kandi World Orchestra will be performing at The Spanish Ballroom in Tacoma on Monday May 6th. I'll be joined by Greg Feingold on bass, special guest Jacques Willis on drums.
We'll also be featuring several students from our Weekly Jazz Workshop. 7pm to 10pm, all ages welcome, no cover charge.
The first set will also be live-streamed and can be viewed via Facebook or The Kareem Kandi World Orchestra's YouTube Channel.

About our guest:
Drummer, Keyboardist and vibraphonist Jacques Willis is an award winning Rock, jazz and fusion artist from Anchorage, Alaska currently making his home in Seattle Washington. He has been described as "exciting, endlessly creative, and looking like a Muppet when he plays" by Earshot Jazz, Keyboard Magazine, and The Stranger respectively.
After graduating with a music degree from Cornish College of The Arts in 2003, Willis has gone on to perform and record with internationally acclaimed musicians such as, Julian Priester, Hadley Caliman, Mike McCready, Duff McKagan, Barret Martin, Skerik, Wayne Horvitz, Mark Pickerel, and, Star Anna to name a few.
