Stange Bangs
Strange Bangs is the sad-girl psychedelic project of
Portland-based musician Heather Mills. Heather grew up in a town of 300 people
in the Sierra Nevada Mountains in California. Her experiences there, from
learning how to play on a broken church basement piano to losing her family's
home to a wildfire in 2020, inform much of her lyrical sentiment. Her music is
ethereal, warm, and incredibly visual.
