Rick Real and the Warmth

Now a fully realized rock group, Rick Real and The Warmth was born as a songwriting vehicle for Eric Gibbons. Checked, edited, supplemented, and inspired by a trusted group of bandmates, Gibbons is able to explore further depths and wider breadths of the art of composing occidental rock & roll numbers and ballads that sometimes afford a space to croon. The band, the apparatus, is a shield. The band name, further protection, and a challenge both to author and reader: get real, there is not much time left. The songs written, recorded, and performed under the name Rick Real and The Warmth are observations and commentary on all that is bad, tempered with jittery faith and a starry-eyed longing for all that is good. Formed in 2018 in Portland, OR USA, the band is celebrating the release of their 4th full length album on Sink Sandwich Records, Shongkris Tomian/Torierin.
