Chihuahua Desert
Peaceful, folksy Americana
"Oh give me a home where the buffalo roam and the deer and the antelope play. Where seldom is heard a discouraging word and the skies are not cloudy all day..."
In the evening when the sun sets and the stars come out, a crackling camp fire gives warmth from its amber glow. With guitars strumming and voices humming, the desert is serenaded like a mother's lullaby. Peace like a blanket covers the mind and the spirit for one more night.
Life in the Chihuahuan Desert has its up and downs. Between heart breaks, train wrecks, natural disasters and gerbil invasions - there's still a smile and a joke or two close by.
If you are looking for some time away from the house then come on out, and when possible bring the kids too - we are proud to say we are "kid-tested and mother approved," you won't hear a discouraging word.
Happy trails...
