MGB (Marcelo Guitron Band) is
a five-piece group based in Portland, Oregon, formed by Marcelo Guitron of
Family Mystic as a vehicle to explore his multi-genre, eclectic, and deeply
soulful sound. Drawing inspiration from rock, soul, oldies, funk, psychedelia,
country, blues, reggae, and world music, MGB delivers a rich musical experience
full of flavor and feeling.
The band features Marcelo
Guitron on guitar and vocals, Jimmy Sanchez on bass, Ian Love on keys and
vocals, Timbre Truth on percussion and vocals, and Todd Wason on drums.
Together, they create a dynamic and heartfelt sound that moves both body and
spirit.
