 In the Works:
A Movie Theater

Don’t call it a comeback:
We’re bringing back the theater experience!

We’ll be revamping the Compass Room in early 2015 for your movie-going pleasure! Watch for updates about the movie premiere night, and plan on watching movies and enjoying concessions once again here!

The Grand Lodge is now pet-friendly!

The Grand Lodge may resemble the White House with its pillars and expansive lawn, but this former Masonic & Eastern Star property is peppered with unique rooms, restaurants, a day spa and free live music events and easy access to wilderness and wineries.

IronworksHere at Forest Grove's libation landmark–just 25 miles west of Portland–you'll enjoy local and seasonal pub fare in the two restaurants to fuel your next adventure. The disc golf clubhouse, Pat's Corner, offers seasonal outdoor seating on the lawn where you can glimpse the course, and, in summer months, enjoy live music along with your drinks on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.

RoomRecharge in one of the 77 European-style guestrooms, and you'll soon be on the mend in the Doctor's Office Bar, where pool tables beckon. Choose from distillery flights or signature cocktails; unwind with inventive beers and wines crafted from the very grapes and hops that characterize the Cascade region. And don't forget the happy hour from 10 p.m. to midnight. Late night revelers may meet the Lavender Lady, whose spirit is said to dance through the halls here, and are commemorated with fanciful art and historical photographs of the area.

GL SoakRejuvenate in the 102-degree soaking pool nestled among the outdoor greenery, which pairs well with a massage, manicure, foot treatment or other restorative wellness options at Ruby's Spa. Monthly specials mean you could try something soothing; hot stone massage and facials have been on special. Or combine luxuries with our Ruby's Spa Packages.

Nearby, guests can discover Hagg Lake's disc golf course, fishing, boats for rent, and trails for hiking and biking--as well as the thrills of a zipline park adjacent to the lake. More fishing and hiking spots are found in the Tillamook State Forest. To top it off, it's just a 60-minute drive from the Grand Lodge to the famed Oregon Coast.

While here in Oregon Wine Country, join in monthly guided overnight or day trips to dozens of area vineyards and winery tasting rooms. Also, near the Hotel in Forest Grove is an opportunity to tour and taste at SakéOne, the leading brewer of craft saké in the U.S.

Your adventure awaits–may we suggest a nod to our beer with a Hammerhead package? Or possibly a tribute to wine: the Tour & Taste package? In this place, you really can't go wrong.

Please note: As of 12/12/2012, the theater has discontinued its regular film programming. Read more...
