About Guava Jam

Guava Jam

Get ready to groove to the island sounds and tropical vibes of Guava Jam. Whether you're a fan of soothing reggae rhythms or just love relaxing to the vibs of Hawaiian inspired melodies, Guava Jam will captivate you with their eclectic mix of traditional and contemporary Hawaiian music, along with a variety of other musical influences that will transport you straight to the islands and will help "Spread a Little Aloha".

Guava Jam has had the pleasure of headlining the "Aloha Brew Festival" in Bothell, along with being the opening act for the legendary Hawaiian group "The Makaha Sons" during the Kalama Heritage Festival in 2018. Guava Jam has been a mainstay at several musical venues and festivals along the I-5 corridor in Western Washington and always brings an infectious tropical energy to their audiences.

The ingredients to Guava Jam's musical recipe includes lead singer and rhythm guitarist Jim Sillanpaa, lead guitarist-ukulele enthusiast-background vocalist James "Amos" Vranna, Bass guitarist and background vocalist Calvin "Cal" Taylor and Percussion Maestro Ken Schnell.
