School of Rock presents "Best! of Portland 2: a benefit for Music In The Schools." Join us again this year to see local teenagers play with members of: Red Fang, Typhoon, Radiation City, Blind Pilot, Blitzen Trapper, Portugal The Man, Brainstorm, Lost Lander, Mean Jeans, AU, Laura Gibson, Lovers, Wild Ones, Sons of Huns, Blouse, Guantanamo Baywatch, Magic Mouth, 1939 Ensemble, Sloths, Autistic Youth and Hammered Grunts! We'll play 25 of your favorite songs from these and more local bands WITH members from the bands and you will rock and be rocked. Oh, and there's a dance party at the end, of course. Don't miss this amazing night of PDX music!

With more than a decade of successful experience teaching music, School of Rock is the national leader in music education for kids from age 7 to 18. Students learn from professional musicians in an interactive environment combining weekly private lessons and structured group rehearsals with the ultimate goal of performing live in front of real crowds.
School of Rock offers summer, winter and spring break rock music boot camps, designed for musicians of all skill levels who play guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, and vocals.
