About The Gothard Sisters
The Gothard Sisters, Greta, Willow, and Solana, are a contemporary Celtic folk trio from the Pacific Northwest whose music blends Celtic, folk, classical, world, new-age, and Americana influences. Multi-instrumentalists and songwriters, they bring their stories to life with layered violin work, guitar, mandolin, bodhrán, djembe, whistle, and tight sibling harmonies, highlighting careful attention to arrangement and melodic detail.
Raised in an artistic, nature-filled environment, they studied classical music while exploring folk traditions, developing a sound that is vivid, imaginative, and rooted in storytelling. They have released 11 albums, performed over 2,000 shows, and earned more than
70 million global streams, reflecting the broad appeal of their music to listeners of all ages and backgrounds. Their newest album, Moment in Time, continues to showcase their blend of narrative, melody, and acoustic craftsmanship. They write and record near their home, drawing inspiration from traditions and landscapes from around the world.
