About Mid-Nite Bourbon

Mid-Nite Bourbon

Debuting in early 2022, Mid-Nite Bourbon was born from the need to take blues music in a new direction while keeping the traditions of classic power trio bands and adding a unique Pacific Northwest twist. Mid-Nite Bourbon is the fierce guitar work of Brian Olver, the bong rattling bass of Jesse Turcotte and the competent drum work of Devan Bland. Wherever the stage Mid-Nite Bourbon will provide top shelf entertainment and a high energy performance every time!

About Joel Astley

Joel Astley

Seattle-based Joel Astley, a world class singer, songwriter, and harmonica slinger, has amassed dozens of awards from the Washington Blues Society, among other accolades. His 4-piece band delivers a high energy and engaging show, blending catchy originals and select classic cuts! They bring a high energy show that draws from roots rock, funk, blues, soul, Americana and rockabilly. The band has amassed dozens of awards, nominations and other accolades, most recently sweeping the 2024 and 2025 Washington's Best of the Blues Awards. They tour regularly, and have performed and/ or headlined many festivals throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Astley made a splash on the international Blues music scene with his 2023 debut solo album, Seattle To Greaseland. Recorded and co-produced by award winner Kid Andsersen, and released on Blue Heart Records (now MoMojo Records), and came in at Number 7 on the Blues Billboard Top Ten and receiving critical acclaim worldwide. Astley is still currently represented by MoMojo Records, and is a Featured Artist with Lee Oskar Harmonicas. They are currently working on a new album with noted producer Lee Oskar.

An interesting side note: Joel Astley came to music after many years working in the visual arts. He is still an active visual artist; his paintings, prints and drawings are in many private collections, and his designs have appeared on album covers and festival tee shirts.
