Chris Staudinger has been a tour guide in Tacoma since 2016, covering the underrepresented history of the Pacific Northwest. He spent over ten years as a travel writer and an investigative travel journalist for Expedia, USA Today, and the BBC, before establishing Pretty Gritty Tours here in Tacoma.
