About Nikko and the Night Shift
Being original takes guts.
For years, I tried to figure out what "be yourself" meant. Turns out, it's a
feeling deep in your gut - the one that points true north amidst a loud storm.
That's the spirit I try to channel into my songs.
I'm a WA local at heart with
plenty of big dreams - I've played Seattle Hempfest, The Crocodile, Jazzbones,
Taste of Tacoma, Live at London Bridge Studios, Capital Lakefair and more.
Backing me is The
Night Shift - a killer lineup featuring Hans Salnave on bass, Brian
Lind on drums, Marcus Sebastian on sax, and my dad, Frank Pisciotti, on keys.
Legends in their own right!
After my last band called it
quits, I had to face the music - literally. No more chasing approval. I locked
myself in the studio and came out with Interstellar, a 6-track EP
where I played everything but sax. It's honest, a little cosmic, and I'm super
proud of it. Check out Still Hear It Calling and the title
track, Interstellar.
Now, the fire's lit. Album
two, Breakthrough, is coming in late 2025. Ahead of that, we've
just dropped a series of live studio recordings on YouTube/Spotify.
I've also recently become a
father of a beautiful little girl - I'm so proud of her and her Mama.
Big things are coming. We're
just getting started!
