On Saturday we begin with a Barrel Tasting and Lunch with the Winemaker, an intimate tasting with a select group of guests and winemakers. Guests will have the opportunity to sample wines currently in the barrel, as well as other unreleased gems from local winemakers. This gives the winemakers an opportunity to educate guests on winemaking process and production, while guests learn more about the varietal and the wineries' contributions to the wine culture.

About 11th Annual Celebration of Syrah
Our 11th Annual Celebration of Syrah at McMenamins Edgefield features a gourmet reception and dinner on Friday evening, followed by a Syrah barrel sampling and BBQ lunch the next afternoon and, to cap it all off, our Grand Syrah Tasting and Benefit Silent Auction in the late afternoon. Proceeds from this final event benefit ¡Salud!, a non-profit organization that aids Oregon's seasonal vineyard workers in securing medical care.
