A note from the organizer...
Hi everyone, Dick Schalk here (The WAYDS, Phoenix, Atlantis, The Executives).
Jam-O-Rama 2010, the second annual Pacific Northwest music scene reunion and jam is happening at McMenamin's White Eagle Saloon, from 1:00pm until closing. Come join the fun!
The White Eagle Saloon is a Portland music landmark with a nice stage, good food, comfortable seating, and a full service bar. Minors are welcome with parents until 8pm, then it'll be 21 and over until closing, so everyone gets a chance to have fun!
We had a blast last year with all the great musicians representing many Pacific North West bands from the 60's and 70's, such as The 1,2,3,FOUR, The Stop, The Live Five, The Stags, The WAYDS, Phoenix, Ziggy Coefield, Doc Michaels and the list went on and on. This year, we're expecting even more musicians from The Regents from Tacoma, The Epix from Portland, and... well, lots of surprises too!
Come this year and represent your band, schmooz, catch up on what's been happening, and jam! We'll have a PA, a backline of drums, keys, and amps. Bring your guitar, bass, favorite vocal mic and whatever else you want to play, and join the fun. There is no cover charge again this year - feel free to pass the word on to your friends - this is open to the public!
For more information, you can Email me at kidklash@q.com. Let me know if your planning to come to play, or just coming to have fun, and email a photo of your band(s) to me and we'll add it to our event "Wall of Fame". ;)
We'll have a merch table there too, so if you've got CDs, T-shirts, whatever for your band, bring it with you. All profits from the merch go to the bands that brought it.
Also be sure to bring a camera - this event is going to be even more AWESOME than last year!
Best regards,
Dick
