About The Distractions (4 to 6 p.m.)
About Bonnie Bentley and the Phantom Teardrops (7 to 10 p.m.)
Bonnie Bentley was hit hard by the British Invasion and The Blues those bands were presenting in 1964. As time went on by 1969 Bonnie had her first band, Gomper, all girls, and she sounded like the Doors and Rolling Stones, but the songwriting skills were already in play.
As the years rolled on, many music styles entered her with an unstoppable drive: Punk, Nuwave, The Blues, and yes, the British Invasion. Sometimes you can still hear the little folk singer coming out in a set.
No stage fright here, Bonnie still slings that guitar and moves like Keith Richards. Blessed with her new band The Phantom Teardrops, the train keeps on rolling.
