“Legendary Wild River Descents with Charlie Munsey”

Content

Whitewater Legend, National Geographic explorer, Outside Magazine photographer, and author of The World of Whitewater Kayaking; Oregonian Charlie Munsey has spent decades kayaking and photographing the most formidable river gorges on Earth.  In this multi-media slideshow presentation, Charlie will share images and stories that highlight the modern evolution of cutting edge kayaking from legendary whitewater pioneer Walt Blackadar through todays guru's Steve Fisher and beyond. Along the way, Munsey will feature Outside Magazine's historic first descent of the Tsangpo Gorge Expedition in the Himalayas, Canada's Grand Canyon of the Stikine, Tibet's cosmic Mt. Kailas, and the most extreme kayaking waterfall descents in the Pacific Northwest.  This presentation will definitely inspire you to go find your own adventures.
