About Haymaker (Reunion)
Haymaker is a five-piece ensemble born and bred in the Pacific Northwest. Their brand of music has been compared to Crazy Horse, Jerry Joseph, Wilco and early REM.
The band formed in 1993 at the height of the "roots rock" phenomenon. After five years of playing to packed houses across the west, and the successful release of their CD The Dream Ride Home, Haymaker decided the time was right to go their separate ways and pursue other musical interests.
In 2011, after a fourteen?year sabbatical, band members reunited with more energy, better chops and a passion to make great music. The band is writing new music and playing the old favorites with new intensity. It turns out that their loyal fan base was waiting for them and are once again performing.
