About Fundraiser Matinee for Richmond and Sunnyside Neighborhood Associations
The Richmond and Sunnyside Neighborhood Associations will hold their annual movie fundraiser at McMenamins' Bagdad Theater, SE Hawthorne Blvd and 37th Ave. Ben & Jerry's is donating the free ice-cream for the event, which will be served in the lobby from 1 p.m. ’til 2 p.m., while supply lasts.
All ticket proceeds from the Wreck-It Ralph showing will go to the Richmond and Sunnyside Neighborhood Associations to fund their various community projects.
The RNA will use its share to fund its annual free movie in Sewallcrest Park, which will be August 17, 2013 and will be another Filmusik live-soundtrack production with the band Blue Cranes performing the music for the film "Planet of Dinosaurs."
