About Jon Koonce & One More Mile
Jon Koonce is a Northwest original. This singer-songwriter and guitarist (not to mention the founder of Johnny and the Distractions) fronts his most recent incarnation -- One More Mile -- as he always has: romping, stomping, twanging and raging through tales of love, lust, trailer parks, truck stops, demons and dogs. Koonce introduces lap steel, humor and blues harp into a vintage live and loud production. Twenty five years of tearin' it up in hootch parlors has left a mark of realism.
In One More Mile, Jon Koonce is joined by ensemble of talented musicians including Albert Reda on keys, guitar and vocals, Larue Todd on bass and vocals and Bryce Shelton on the drums.
