- All ages welcome
We have taken a brown ale and made it even better, Winter Warmer style! Hopped up and beefed up with more malt flavors gives the Parson Brown its big and bigger flavors. Sweet nut malt complexities are melded with a floral and earthy hop flavor. Lots of hops were used but so many as to make your taste buds quiver. This brown ale has all that a Northwest Beer drinker could ask for.
On top of it all we have put a few gallons in our Firkin keg, which lets the beer naturally carbonate itself, and then when the spigot is hammered in, it pours with a traditional English-style feel. Lower carbonation and smooth mouth feel gives this big beer an easy drinkability.
Come join us at 5 p.m. sharp at O’Kanes to witness the fountain that is called the tapping and enjoy the Parson Brown – an ale made to warm all your cold parts!
Malts: GWM Pale, GWM Munich, Flaked Barley, Franco Belges CaraMunich 40L, Baird’s Crystal 70/80, Baird’s Brown and Baird’s Chocolate
Hops: Centennial, Nugget, Brewer’s Gold, Cascade, Willamette
