From the streets of Valparaíso, Chile, Ripe Red Apple is a band about passion. Singer Gaia and guitarist Gonzalo thank the apple of sin every day for their beautiful lives of love, lust, curiosity, solitude and sorrow. Inspired by the great roots musicians of the early 1900s, the band's soul lies in the hypnotic riff-and-rhythm heavy blues of the northern Mississippi hill country, with hints of Appalachia. The band is tightly nit, made for self-expression and honest communication, not made to please.
