The rhythm section of Xtn and Zig were formed years ago at IU - only later to magically come together in Portland, Ore., by fate's decree alone. Teaming up with Joe in 2008 has led the band through several formations, much mutation and a sound forged through experimentation, hard work and camaraderie. Writing together, hanging out together, sharing recording duties, and at times even living together has led the band to a solid foundation of understanding and togetherness. Concerts vary between intimate and acoustic and packed halls with raucous theatrics. If you want to be moved and awed at the same time, come check out a NorthHead show.
