ilan laks and the Skeleton Band

Singer/songwriter, ilan Laks (Casper Maccabee, Chrome Echo, Turn Me On Dead Man, Darlins) has recorded and performed with the likes of Jackson Brown, Eric Mcfadden (PFunk, The Animals), Sam Henry (The Wipers, Dead Moon, Napalm Beach), and so many more incredible artists over the last three decades.
Now ilan has been performing around Portland with his daughter, Tsila, playing originals from his past albums, plus his new material, Skeleton Band. With ilan on guitar and vocals, and Tsila on Bass and vocals, the two have joined forces with Lloyd Winter (Son Of Lloyd) on drums, and Andy Manla (Orquestra Pacifico Tropical, Roselit Bone, Strangeletter) on synth and keys, to form Skeleton Band.
ilan is currently recording the band's self-titled album at AudioCinema Studio.

Head downstairs at the Crystal Hotel to hang out in this venue named for Al Winter, Portland's 1940's gambling overlord. Enjoy a craft libation in this intimate, speakeasy-style space where live music and comedy fill the air.
