Solid songs with ear candy that doesn't just stick in your head but moves you. That's the DoublePlay combination that keeps listeners of Songwriter David Pollack's project coming back for more.

Originally from New York City, Pollack moved to Portland OR in 2017 to further pursue his music on the west coast. He's released two full length albums and numerous EP's including his most recent; the "DP EP" (Sept 2019). The DP EP serves as a nostalgic piece to the early 2000's with powerful melodies and bludging southern california guitars. After some experimenting into different genres, Pollack wanted to go back to his musical roots of power/pop and alternative rock.

Pollack has toured all across the US and Europe making stops in Berlin, London, Montreal, Los Angeles and of course his native New York City. The travel doesn't stop into 2020.

About Al's Den

Head downstairs at the Crystal Hotel to hang out in this venue named for Al Winter, Portland's 1940's gambling overlord. Enjoy a craft libation in this intimate, speakeasy-style space where live music and comedy fill the air.
