Pulp Western

Pulp Western is a band raised under the country stars but destined for tall buildings and bright lights. They're children of the Wild West who yearned for the boom and hustle of loud city barrooms, yet couldn't outrun the simpler notions of their past. The band's sound, inspired by the ever-progressing spirit of country music, combines vintage countrypolitan from Music Row with undercurrents of grit from their disparate outlaw country influences as well. This can also be seen in their covers of choice ranging from Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn to Kacey Musgraves and Sturgill Simpson. Whatever your brand of country music might be, Pulp Western and their Electric Country Revue has a song for you and yours.

Dead Lee is a Portland, OR based folk duo comprised of Brian Koch (current and founding member of Blitzen Trapper) and singer/songwriter Kara Harris. With just two voices and two guitars, the duo embraces a mutual love of the darker folk and country traditions, the very music they met and bonded over in the winter of 2016. They first performed together at a charity concert and they've been performing shows across the country ever since.

Head downstairs at the Crystal Hotel to hang out in this venue named for Al Winter, Portland's 1940's gambling overlord. Enjoy a craft libation in this intimate, speakeasy-style space where live music and comedy fill the air.
