Rock and Roll with Soul

Michelle Decourcy and the Rocktarts

Portland, Oregon based Michelle DeCourcy and the Rocktarts are living proof that honesty, passion and ambition prevail in Rock & Roll. Formed in 2013 as an alternative-rock cover band, the members quickly decided that composing and playing original music was more their passion. Putting pen to paper and being seduced by a certain sound, Michelle DeCourcy and the Rocktarts aligned their unwavering dedication and talent to their newly formed band. Armed with a do-it-yourself work ethic and deep love of the music, each member contributes to the band's signature sound that will be infused in their forthcoming debut album due out in the Summer of 2015. Prepare for hook-heavy melodies, hard driving beats and the solid rock walls of sound.

Brian Harrison and The Last Draw

As a multi-instrumentalits, Brian Harrison's music history starts very young by taking classical piano lessons. As high school approached , his love for guitar became the catalyst to motivate and start playing in bands. Dirty Rhythm , an arena style hair metal band was the first of his real label experience . Produced by Paul Dean of Loverboy back in 1989-1990 Dirty Rhythm's Feel the Fire was released in America and Japan. Another CD, independently released as Never Cleaned Up followed and then shortly afterwards the music scene changed.

He dabbled in the Seattle grunge era , played in pop punk bands , heavy grind core music, and then landed into a period of reflection. During this time he wrote his first instrumental CD Brian Harrison, Nine Lives and Ten Songs. Being attracted to acoustic music started the process that lead to his current CD Brian Harrison And The Last Draw.

He played the bulk of all the stringed instruments that included some slide, banjo (6-string) and some mandolin...all new instruments for him. "They were instruments that I've loved and have always wanted to learn more with those twangy thangs!"
