Our former 1936 elementary school offers indoor event spaces to welcome up to 120 guests at your next meeting or event. We’ll work with you to craft a comfortable, unique and memorable meet-up within your budget—whether you need the onsite theater for a large presentation with visuals, or a quaint room with our original art on display to feast on catered fare during a discussion, birthday party, retirement party, baby shower…
In addition, we have comfortable hotel guestrooms with ensuite bathrooms and TVs; a restaurant and several small bars; a brewery; and soaking pool for relaxing after your event.
The Old St. Francis School is located just 10 minutes from the Bend Municipal Airport, and is situated in the middle of downtown Bend.

Old St. Francis School Meeting Spaces
This is our second year having our holiday party at McMenamins. Jackie is a pleasure to work with and makes the planning so easy and smooth. It is a pleasure to work with someone who is so organized and committed to seeing we have the best experience possible. The food was delicious. As I have always experienced at McMenamins, the service exceeded my expectations. The servers were friendly, polite and attentive. Thank you for the wonderful experience. We will definitely be back next year!
This is the 3rd meeting I have planned and Jackie Johnson is, by far, the best event planner I’ve worked with. She never complained about my constant questions and provided brilliant solutions to problems that arose. Each and every service staff I encountered were on task, helpful, resourceful and professional in a genuinely accommodating manner. We had plenty of delicious food and the gluten free pizzas were greatly appreciated.
I just wanted to write and say how great of a time we had during the event we held at your facility. I was blown away at the service we received from Nanette and Shelly and the food was fantastic, including the on the spot info-mercial I had Shelly do giving the group a history lesson of the building, everyone really enjoyed it. We’ll be back, I promise you!
