Casey Hurt is a songwriter, artist and music producer from the Pacific Northwest. He is an accomplished guitarist, drummer and vocalist. His 25 year career as a professional musician led him to start MUSIC LIFE where he shares the joy of creating music with others and helping students reach their goals.

When he is not teaching, Casey enjoys performing live, writing and producing songs and spending time with his family.

Casey is best known for his song Mended Souls, which was featured on the closing credits of the TV show Criminal Minds. The SF Chronicle writes, Casey's music, "grabs hold and lifts your spirits ever higher. [These] songs strike the ear as instantly familiar and part of the fabric of American life."
