About Afghan Cycles
There are women in Afghanistan who are risking their lives
to fight for their rights: their right to get an education, their right to work
outside the home, their right to run for Parliament, and their right to ride a
bicycle.
Afghan Cycles is the long-awaited documentary about a generation of Afghan
women who are pedaling their own revolution, aggressively challenging gender
and cultural barriers using the bicycle as a vehicle for freedom, empowerment
and social change.
