of The Color of Fear: 8 American Men Discuss Race, an
insightful, groundbreaking film about the state of race relations in America as
experienced by North American men of African, Asian, European and Latinx
descent. In 1994, Director Lee Mun Wah brought together this diverse group to dialogue
about a wide range of topics--all under the umbrella of 'race relations in
America'. Through the series of intelligent, emotional and dramatic
discussions, the men reveal the pain and scars that racism has caused them.
What emerges is a deeper sense of understanding and trust. Their words and
emotions are just as poignant and relevant today as they were 25 years ago.
