About Is It Really Haunted?

Is It Really Haunted?

Presented by Dave King, former Washington State Ghost Society president & Stacy Calvert, Medium

What does it mean for something to be “haunted?”  There are as many misunderstandings about the word as there are misdiagnosed “hauntings.”  This presentation will demystify the word and offer explanations of just what might be happening when you think somewhere is haunted. Join us for an exploration into the phenomenon and put your fears on the subject to rest.

About the Speakers:

Stacy Calvert has been a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Neuro Linguistic Coach, and certified Matrix Energetics Practitioner since 2009. In 2011 she added Chinese face reading to her services. Stacey mentored under Jean Haner, one of the leading people in this field. She has also learned space clearing from Jean

and added that to my services. January of 2012 Stacey became a co-founder and presenter for Northwest Mediumship Meetup group, a group that met once a month to develop people's mediumship abilities. In 2012 she also became a member of the Washington State Ghost Society  and serves as a medium on paranormal investigations. In 2015 Stacey took a side road and learned animal communication and found a passion for communicating with all types of animals. It is now the main focus of her business, along with space clearing and face reading. For more information, go to sacredconnections.biz.

Dave King is the former president of the Washington State Ghost Society and a current member. He has conducted well over 300 paranormal investigations exploring site’s histories via spirit engagements. By working with mediums, coupled with collecting EVPs (Electronic Voice Phenomena, the society has been able to help clients bridge gaps of the site’s missing history.  To date, Dave has analyzed well over 8,000 EVP messages. The learning process resulting from the paranormal investigations adds to the Washington State Ghost Society’s knowledge framework about the time, mechanics of spirit communication and spirit perception of this reality.

About Paranormal Pub

Paranormal Pub

Join us once a month to hear from experts in unexplainable phenomena - think UFOs, extraterrestrials, Bigfoot, ESP, ghosts and beyond. Come have a beer and a burger handcrafted beverage, concessions, and/or a slice of pizza, settle in and learn something new from a curated line-up of scholars, experiencers and others.

According to Wikipedia: "Paranormal events are phenomena described in popular culture, folklore and other non-scientific bodies of knowledge, whose existence within these contexts is described to lie beyond normal experience or scientific explanation.

A paranormal phenomenon is different from hypothetical concepts such as dark matter and dark energy. Unlike paranormal phenomena, these hypothetical concepts are based on empirical observations and experimental data gained through the scientific method.

The most notable paranormal beliefs include those that pertain to ghosts, extraterrestrial life, unidentified flying objects, psychic abilities or extrasensory perception and cryptids."

We thank McMenamins History and UFO Festival for coordinating and hosting this programming at Kennedy School.
