Race Talks is a free monthly series founded in 2009 and co-sponsored by Donna Maxey (Founder/Director) and McMenamins History that deals with race in Oregon, both historically and up to the present time, to provide learning experiences that support the development of racial identity and sensitivity. Prior to COVID-19, McMenamins Kennedy School hosted Race Talks every month to discuss a topic of ethnic and racial elements, led by educators and/or experts.
