About Quantum Metaphysics: Normalizing the Paranormal

Quantum Metaphysics: Normalizing the Paranormal

Presented by Rev. Neel Neargood, Author

Quantum physics is weird, counter-intuitive, and downright spooky! For well over a century, however, it has supplanted the classical physics and worldview of Newton and Descartes with a bizarre, chaotic ocean of probabilities and possibilities.  What once seemed paranormal, outside the mechanistic realm of cause and effect reality, gains a certain normalcy when viewed through the lens of Quantum physics.

Join us for an accessible and humorous discussion of some links between metaphysical phenomena and Quantum field theories.  No PhD or previous Bigfoot abduction experience necessary, just an open mind and willingness to think about the world in a new way.

About the Speaker:

Rev. Neargood is a writer and professional WIzard who has been working in the field of Metaphysics for over 30 years.  He offers Spiritual coaching and counselling for those experiencing an Awakening, as well as crafting custom talismans and amulets to enhance one’s energetic being. He is currently working on a new book Quantum Interpretational Techniques of the Tarot and training for a charity endurance-cycling event in 2020.

About Paranormal Pub

Paranormal Pub

Join us once a month to hear from experts in unexplainable phenomena - think UFOs, extraterrestrials, Bigfoot, ESP, ghosts and beyond. Come have a beer and a burger handcrafted beverage, concessions, and/or a slice of pizza, settle in and learn something new from a curated line-up of scholars, experiencers and others.

According to Wikipedia: "Paranormal events are phenomena described in popular culture, folklore and other non-scientific bodies of knowledge, whose existence within these contexts is described to lie beyond normal experience or scientific explanation.

A paranormal phenomenon is different from hypothetical concepts such as dark matter and dark energy. Unlike paranormal phenomena, these hypothetical concepts are based on empirical observations and experimental data gained through the scientific method.

The most notable paranormal beliefs include those that pertain to ghosts, extraterrestrial life, unidentified flying objects, psychic abilities or extrasensory perception and cryptids."

We thank the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) for coordinating and hosting this programming at Kennedy School Theater.
