About Courtyard Restaurant

A school cafeteria like no other!

Open daily for breakfast, lunch, happy hour and dinner, the comfortable mahogany booths and eclectic light fixtures of Kennedy School's Courtyard Restaurant invite you to hang out, stay awhile.  Transformed from the old school's cafeteria, the restaurant replaces the traditional lunch-tray offerings with hearty pub fare, handcrafted ales brewed steps away in the onsite brewery and seasonal weekly specials.

On those gorgeous sunny Portland days, guests move outdoors to the flower-filled courtyard where an impressive mosaic-tiled fireplace keeps watch over the festivities.

The Courtyard Restaurant only takes reservations for parties of 8 to 20 people; we also kindly request that any food fights are well-controlled.

We offer Northwest-style pub fare that incorporates the freshest seasonal ingredients from local and regional growers and producers (including Tillamook Cheese, Julie's Organic Ice Cream, Pleasant Valley Pickles, Sheridan Fruit Company, Country Natural Beef and many others). We make everything onsite, including pizza, soups and more. Weekly specials round out our menus – ask your server for details.

Gluten-free buns available! These light, crisp, locally made products are available for an additional charge with hamburgers and sandwiches – just ask your server. Please note: Although the bun is gluten-free, our kitchens are not.
