About Cowlitz County Historical Museum: Alive With History

Cowlitz County Historical Museum: Alive With History

*** Due to unforeseen circumstances our scheduled speaker will be unable to present, Shipwrecks, Legends, and Lost Treasures - Historical Archaeology on the Oregon Coast. The presentation will be rescheduled for our 2020 Kalama Harbor Lodge History Pub series. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause those planning to attend.

Presented by Joseph Govednik, Museum Director

The Cowlitz County Historical Museum's ongoing work is to preserve our regional heritage for public enjoyment and education, now and for future generations.

Join us to learn about the museum, its origins and history, and some recent developments. A few featured artifacts will also be shared to illustrate the history of Cowlitz County.

About the Speaker:

Joseph Govednik is Cowlitz County Historical Museum Director and also serves as the Executive Director of the Cowlitz County Historical Society, which is in partnership with Cowlitz County in the operations of the Museum. He oversees and direct all activities of the museum and is thankful to work with an outstanding staff, County government, and Historical Society Board of Directors.
