About McMinnville of the Living Dead: Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Zombie Apocalypse

Join us to learn about the Zombie Apocalypse from a historical and
cultural perspective, and evaluate its potential impact on the Pacific
Northwest. Peterson will also will suggest ways in which, you too, may survive
the Zombie Apocalypse. You can never be too prepared for the undead!
About the Speakers:
Professor Jeff D. Peterson is a sociology professor and director
of the Linfield Center for the Northwest at Linfield College. He teaches in
Linfield’s new major, Wine Studies, and also regularly teaches a popular course
on the Zombie Apocalypse.
Jamie Friedman is an assistant professor of English literature and
gender studies at Linfield College. She specializes in medieval English literature,
in which monsters of all varieties make regular and provocative appearances.
She also teaches courses on medieval and modern race, gender and sexuality.
