A sweet and irreverent, intimate and libatious acoustic show in celebration of each full moon. Come toast the moon!

A full moon is one of the most dramatic sites in the night sky —and inspiration for poets, artists, and lovers through centuries. For millennia, humans have used the movement of the moon to keep track of the passing year and set schedules for hunting, planting, and harvesting. Ancient cultures the world over have given these full moons names, which applied to the entire month in which each occurred. Celebrate this month's full moon at Kris's show downstairs at the Garage Door!

Local rockstar Kris Deelane is a powerhouse vocalist, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. She has opened for numerous national acts including Jerry Joseph, 3 Dog Night, Martha Davis (The Motels), John Doe (X, The Knitters), Jill Sobule, Peter Yarrow (Peter, Paul, and Mary), and many more. She helps organize and is bandleader for the yearly Next Waltz shows at Alberta Rose Theatre benefitting the Jeremy Wilson Foundation. A recreation of The Band’s final performance, The Last Waltz, filmed by Martin Scorsese in 1976. Kris and her bands have played at Oregon Country Fair, What The Festival, High Sierra, Dixie Music Fest, Waterfront Blues Fest, Winter Blues Music Festival, Hops Fest in Hood River, NYE events at McMenamin’s Grand Lodge and Edgefield, Kennedy School, Manifestation PDX, Refuge PDX and much more. She also currently leads a 9-piece Motown/Soul revue (Kris Deelane & The Hurt) that has been packing shows in Portland.
