Rekow(pronounced, "Rico") is a 6-piece soul/groove outfit from Olympia, WA, featuring dreamy, neo-soul-esque keypads, robust, luscious organ, a grainy, powerful vocal delivery, and counter-melodies that'll keep you humming for days. It's all held together by a rhythm section that takes a vintage sound and brings it to the present, all while keeping those classic soul qualities intact. This ain't your grandpa's doo-wop group, folks, but he'd probably dig it, still.
Zack Medlin is a singer/songwriter from Olympia, Washington. Inspired by the new wave of songwriters such as boygenius, Leith Ross, and Father John Misty, Zack weaves introspective narratives through his music, blending emotive indie folk with heartfelt lyricism. His latest release, "American Dream," stands as a haunting testament to the struggles faced by his generation, capturing the complexities of life and love in the modern American landscape. With a voice that balances vulnerability and strength, Zack's performances create an intimate experience, offering solace to weary souls.
With songs that are grounded in thoughtful lyricism, Arden Leas uses metaphor, both lyrically and sonically, to immerse listeners into the big feelings of her music. Currently residing in Tacoma, WA, Arden takes much of her inspiration from old country music like Johnny Cash and the Carter Family, from the folk and americana revival of the 2010s, alt rock, and infinite elsewheres. As her experience in the realm of music production grows, as do the depth and quality of her songs, spanning genres and staying true to her commitment to poignant storytelling.
