Big Water is an artist, educator, producer, songwriter and
most of all a singer with a voice like liquid gold. Last year celebrated 25
years of Big Water as a one man show or backed by his band, 'the Ride'. Big
Water's original music is a gift of heart and soul that blends folk, country,
and blues with beautiful melodies and grooving rhythms into Americana Roots
Rock! Five CD's; LOOK, LISTEN, AND FEEL (2001), LIFE ON EARTH (2005), IN
THE GARDEN (2007), WHUT!? (2015) and recently released, MY DEEP
(2018), all let you in on how this man views the hope and the hurt of the
human experience. Big Water calls Portland, Oregon his Base Camp and has toured
and traveled the world carrying love, music, and fun to all generations
everywhere he goes. From sometimes 'singing for his supper', to playing festivals
with other artists or doing creativity workshops with kids in schools,
this artist is dedicated to his craft and to the shared experience between
performer and audience. Big Water is a solid and seasoned artist to keep your
eyes on with his 'get under your skin and into your heart' song writing style.
Don't be surprised if you find yourself singing along on his songs whether you
know them or not.
Water is a feel good artist that shines on your spirit,
your soul, and heals your heart.
Big Heart, Big Mind, Big
Simple Tricks and Nonsense has been
playing together for the past decade. It is a four piece band with Dave on
drums, Chris on guitar and vocals, Melody on keys and vocals and Andy on bass
and vocals. The songs are written in a variety of ways making each of
them fun to play and to listen to. It has been difficult to explain what kind
of music it is, but there are harmonies and the lead singer switches between
Melody and Chris.
Jack Gariepy is a singer/songwriter
from Eugene, Oregon. He's been working as a solo musician for the last 6 years
busking the streets near and far, playing at Farmer's Markets, bars, and many
weird places in between. His 2018 debut EP Better Days features three
original tunes that were recorded alongside a full band at Sprout City Studios.
Primarily shifting his focus to solo performance, he gains inspiration from the
likes of Bob Dylan, Justin Townes Earle, Shakey Graves, Wilco, and countless
others. Whether playing inside or out, to a crowd or for passerby on the
street, Jack's voice will certainly ring into your atmosphere.
