His songs have won First Place/Country category in the International Songwriter Competition and have been placed on TV to include TNT's 'Saving Grace", The Travel Channel and Lifetime Network's "Chasing Nashville". He donates time and raises awareness for many causes including St. Jude, Boys Town, and Alzheimers Research.David's 6th current album release "First Love" featuring performances by Mary Gauthier, Keb Mo and Alicia Michilli was accepted for Grammy Consideration for "Best Folk Album." David's co-write "It Doesn't Take Much Light" was heard by the Boy Scouts of America and David performed the song to over 5000 Eagle Scouts at the Order of Arrow Conference at Michigan State U.
