Environmental migrations are expected to increase as climate change causes more extreme environmental conditions. Join Dr. Elizabeth Marino, assistant professor of Anthropology at OSU-Cascades, to learn about the complexities of environmental migration, environmental refugees and the potential implications for Oregon and the High Desert region.
In partnership with the Nature Conservancy
Join us for beer and history, sponsored by the the High Desert Museum, Des Chutes Historical Museum, the Oregon Encyclopedia, and McMenamins, in which you'll hear lively local and regional history while you enjoy a frosty pint or two of handcrafted ale.
