About Meet Mill Creek's Maker

Meet Mill Creek's Maker

McMenamins' 12th brewery opened in the summer of 1995. The company's northernmost outpost, it's located about 30 miles north of Seattle. As the pub regulars will tell you, the Mill Creek brewery makes a mean IPA, but there's plenty more being brewed at this location. The majority of the brews coming out of this small batch brewery are lagers! So get over to Mill Creek & bring your curiosities. Enjoy this one time offering because when it's gone, it will be no more.

Note: Beers poured at this tasting event qualify for happy hour pricing.

This event is an Official Limited Edition Beer Tasting! You can obtain an experience stamp, getting you one step closer to a $20 gift card, if you've purchased the Passport Insert that allows for additional experience stamps.

About Old Growth Double Brown Ale

Old Growth Double Brown Ale
Inspired by the vast woodlands of the Cascade Range, we made a Brown Ale and put our own high gravity twist on it. This transformed the beer into a Strong Ale, and more specifically, an "Old Ale."  Which, given the name, has been around for very long time. This ale features flavors of deep caramel, brown sugar and toffee.
Malts: 2-Row, Munich, Vienna, Crystal 40, Black, Chocolate Malt
Hops: Brewers Gold, Cascade, US Golding
OG: 1.078  TG: 1.015  ABV: 8.27  IBU: 38  SRM: 22
