In 29 years of brewing Winter Welcome Ale, this is the first time Samuel Smith’s Brewery has exported this winter warmer from Tadcaster – and the first time Samuel Smith Brewer Gavin Scoreby has joined us to talk all about it! The full-bodied, malty rich ale is meant to be shared with friends in the chilly days of winter. Tasting Notes
Honey-amber colored, creamy head of small bubbles, floral aroma and delicious caramel malt flavor with great finesse. Fine hop aroma finish and a fruity note from fermentation in open-topped stone "Yorkshire Squares”.
